Teatro visual, máscaras, títeres y sombras para público familiar (a partir de 6 años) Oniro es una propuesta escénica de teatro visual dirigida al público familiar de medio formato que explora el universo de los sueños y el proceso de crecimiento emocional en la infancia.
Sinopsis
Luna tiene 10 años y últimamente le cuesta dormir. Está experimentando nuevas sensaciones que no sabe comprender muy bien. Cuando consigue adentrarse en el mundo de los sueños este le resulta inquietante. Gracias a una guía de sus sueños, Senoi, explorará el mundo onírico y descubrirá el poder de explorar los sueños. Luna mirará de frente sus temores, y comprenderá que forman parte de todos nosotros.
Propuesta escénica
La cama de la protagonista funciona como eje de la escenografía y portal hacia el mundo onírico. A partir de este elemento central surgen personajes, objetos y paisajes que transforman continuamente el espacio escénico gracias a caminos de hierba de pampa que significarán el espacio onírico. La estética se inspira en gigantes y cabezudos, imaginarios festivos tradicionales carnavalescos y materiales naturales como mimbre, fibras y cuerdas.
Universo temático
El espectáculo propone mirar esos miedos desde la imaginación y el juego, inspirándose en la idea del “onironauta”, la persona que toma conciencia dentro de sus sueños y puede dialogar con ellos comprendiendo parte de sí mismo. Oniro aborda el miedo como parte esencial del crecimiento, poniendo foco en la infancia donde las preocupaciones evolucionan y se vuelven más complejas aumentando la conciencia emocional.
Mediación y público
El proyecto contempla una dimensión pedagógica y de mediación cultural que amplía la experiencia del espectáculo. Se ha creado un dossier pedagógico para centros educativos, talleres y encuentros con el público. Estas acciones buscan fomentar la creación de nuevos públicos y fortalecer el vínculo entre artes escénicas y educación.
Gracias al apoyo del Centro Dramático Nacional y Getxo Kultura. Se presentará en dos versiones: euskera y castellano, facilitando su circulación en diferentes territorios. Gracias al apoyo del Teatro Escalante de Valencia, se llevará a cabo también la versión en catalán.

Is a mid-scale visual theatre, masks, puppets and shadows for family audiences (6+) that explores the world of dreams and the emotional growth that takes place during childhood. Through a poetic and highly visual stage language, the performance invites both children and adults to share an immersive journey into imagination, fear and self-discovery.
Synopsis
Luna is 10 years old and lately she has been struggling to fall asleep. She is beginning to experience new feelings and fears that she does not yet fully understand. When she enters the world of dreams, she finds it unsettling. With the help of Senoi, a guide who appears in her dreams, Luna discovers the power hidden within dreams. By facing her fears, Luna gradually understands that they are a natural part of life and something we all share.
Artistic concept
The protagonist’s bed is the central scenic element and serves as a portal to the dream world. From this object emerge characters, objects and landscapes that continuously transform the stage. Paths made of pampas grass evoke the dreamlike landscape, creating an immersive visual atmosphere. The aesthetic draws inspiration from traditional carnival figures such as giants and big-head masks, combined with natural materials like wicker, fibres and ropes. Through visual theatre, masks, puppetry and shadows, the stage becomes a living dreamscape where imagination and reality intertwine.
Thematic universe
The performance approaches fear as a natural and essential part of growing up. During childhood, emotions and concerns gradually become more complex, increasing emotional awareness. Inspired by the concept of the “oneironaut”—someone who becomes aware within their dreams—Oniro invites audiences to explore the inner world of dreams as a place where fears can be understood, transformed and shared.
Audience engagement
The project includes a strong educational and audience engagement dimension that extends the experience beyond the performance. A pedagogical dossier for schools, workshops and audience encounters accompanies the production, encouraging reflection on dreams, emotions and imagination. These activities aim to foster new audiences and strengthen the relationship between performing arts and education.
With the support of Centro Dramático Nacional and Getxo Kultura, the production will be available in Basque and Spanish, facilitating its circulation across different territories. Thanks to the support of Teatre Escalante (Valencia), a Catalan version of the performance will also be developed.
